My Journey with 30 for His Glory

You may not know me.
You may not know God.
You may not even feel like you know yourself right now.
So let’s begin with something simple—an introduction.
Hello, I’m Kathleen Bourne.
It’s really nice to meet you.
One vital thing I’ve come to understand is this:
you don’t have to walk through life alone.
There was a time when I felt like I did. Even surrounded by people—family, friendships, responsibilities—I still carried a sense of striving. Trying to do more, be more, and prove more. I believed my worth was tied to what I accomplished and how I measured up.
But life has a way of revealing the limits of that thinking.
People—no matter how much we love them—can let us down. Relationships can be complicated. And if we’re not grounded in something deeper, those disappointments can leave us feeling isolated and unsure.
What changed everything for me was this:
My worth was never meant to come from the world around me.
It comes from my identity in God.
That shift didn’t happen all at once. It came during a season when I needed help—real help. Not just answers, but peace.
And I found it in a simple place: walking.
Out in nature, away from the noise and pressure, I began to slow down. In that quiet, I experienced something I hadn’t in a long time—stillness.
And in that stillness, I felt the presence of the Lord on a deeper level—without the distractions and busyness I had so often chosen, which had drowned out His voice.
He met me there.
And He began a work in me that brought the peace I had been searching for.
30 for His Glory was born out of that season.
It’s not just a walking plan. It’s an invitation—to step away from striving and into something deeper. To spend intentional time with God while moving your body, clearing your mind, and reconnecting with what truly matters.
If you find yourself feeling stretched thin, disconnected, or simply ready for something more grounded and meaningful, I’d love for you to take that first step.
Not because your journey will look exactly like mine—
but because you may discover, as I did, that you were never meant to walk it alone.
I’m still a type A personality. I still love to write, to encourage others, and to mentor. But now I do those things from a place of peace. The busyness no longer defines me—and it no longer overtakes the peace I’ve found in the Lord.
I invite you to come alongside me as you explore 30 for His Glory, and when you’re ready, take your own steps toward a deeper sense of peace with the Lord.
